I was elected as a Member of the Council in May 2007. This is my second term having previously been a councillor from 1997 - 2005.
I became a Councillor because I am a long time socialist and passionate about my local community. I am particularly interested in local environmental projects and art.
I am a school governor and a member of many local community organisations.
