The Committee received a report to seek the approval on the update and amended General Safety Certificate (No. 25D) for Gateshead International Stadium.

Employees from the Councils Building Control tam carried out its annual safety inspections at the Stadium in August 2023 and June 2024. The inspections focused on the physical condition of the stadium as well as the safety aspects of the management of the stadium.

RESOLVED:

i.              The approval of Mr Lamb being the dedicated qualified person to hold the Safety Certificate.

ii.             That the approve amendment to the General Safety Certificate.
