Consideration was given to a report seeking approval for a number of amendments to the Constitution.
COUNCIL RESOLVED - That the proposed changes to the Council’s
Constitution, as set out in Appendix 2 of the report, and including an amendment to Article 18 to change Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group to the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, be approved.

That the Council be recommended to approve the proposed changes to the Council’s Constitution as set out in appendix 2 to the report. |

The above decision has been made to ensure that the Constitution remains fit for purpose and that its aims and principles are given effect. |
