I was elected to the Council to
represent Deckham ward in May 2016. I have lived in Gateshead all
of my life, attending Harlow Green and Joseph Swan schools before
studying at Northumbria University and the University of
London.
I have been a member of the Labour Party since 2010 and currently
work for Gateshead MP Ian Mearns, having previously worked as a
copywriter. Within the ward I am a governor at South Street School,
sit on the management committee at the Millway Centre, and am a trustee at the Deckham
Community Centre.
