Additional Information

I was born in Gateshead and I have lived in Wardley since 1982.

I was first elected as a Councillor in 1991, in what was then the Wrekendyke ward and is now known as the Wardley and Leam Lane ward.

I have served on the Cabinet since 2001.  During that time I have held the portfolio for Children and Young People, the portfolio for Community Safety and I currently hold the portfolios for Sustainable Communities - Central and Culture, as well as supporting Cabinet members on Quality, Community Safety and Environment.  I am a  Governor of two local community primary schools - Whitemere and Roman Road.  I also serve on other organisations including East Gateshead Bus Alliance Board Partnership, Gateshead Women's Refuge Steering Group and Leam Lane Community Association.

As one of your three representatives for the Wardley and Leam Lane Ward I am always available to listen to any issue you believe I could assist you with, either within the Ward or within the Borough.  If you have a problem or a query please contact me at any time.
