This portfolio team is led by Councillor Michael McNestry, who is supported by  Councillor Gary Haley and Councillor Bernadette Oliphant.

·         Assessment, commissioning and provision of adult social care;

·         Independent living;

·         Older people; people with learning/physical disabilities (including domiciliary care and day care meals and shopping services);

·         Re-enablement;

·         Residential/nursing care;

·         Safeguarding adults and protecting/supporting vulnerable adults;

·         Supporting carers.
