This report will update Cabinet on the outcome of consultation on Air Quality across Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, and on further assessment of options to improve Air Quality across Tyneside.

To present to Cabinet the 2018/19 Annual Reports of the Gateshead Local Safeguarding Children Board and Safeguarding Adults Board. To update Cabinet on the new Multi-Agency Safeguarding arrangements for children and to present the new Safeguarding Adults Board Strategic Plan 2019/24.

To inform Cabinet of decisions made under delegated powers during the summer recess.

For Cabinet to endorse the Annual Report of the Audit and Standards Committee for 2018/19 and agree it is submitted to Council.

To request Cabinet approval for the appointment/reappointment of Local Authority Governors.

To request Cabinet's approval for the Youth Justice Strategic Plan 2019-20.

The report asks Cabinet to approve the school term dates for 2020/21.
