Agenda and minutes

The Committee is asked to approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held 7 December 2016 (copy previously circulated).

The minutes of the meeting held on 7 December 2016 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

Members to declare interests in any agenda items

Councillor J McClurey declared that a family member is Chair of the Gateshead NHS Foundation Trust and therefore he did not participate in the consideration and decision concerning Planning Application DC/16/00944/FUL.

RESOLVED:            (i)       That the full planning applications, change of use

applications and outline applications specified in the appendix to these minutes be granted, refused or referred to the Department for Communities and Local Government or deferred as indicated subject to the conditions, if any, as specified therein and to any other appropriate conditions of a routine or standard nature.

(ii)          That the applications granted in accordance with delegated powers be noted.

Consideration was given to a report that informed of new appeals against enforcement action previously authorised by the Committee.

RESOLVED:               That the information be noted.

The Committee received a report advising that no new appeals have been received since the last meeting and that an appeal against a delegated decision has been allowed.

It was also reported that there is one outstanding appeal.

Report of the Strategic Director, Communities and Environment

The Committee considered a report that informed of the completion of Planning Obligations which have previously been authorised.

Since the last meeting there have been no new planning obligations and one payment of £36,000.00 received.

RESOLVED:               That the information be noted.
