The Committee is asked to approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held 1 August 2018 (copy previously circulated).

The minutes of the meeting held on 1 August 2018 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

There were no declarations of interest.

The applications determined since the last committee meeting in accordance with the powers delegated under part 3, schedule 2 were tabled for informaiton.

Consideration was given to a report that informed of the progress of enforcement action previously authorised by the Committee.

The Committee received a report advising of new appeals received and to report the decisions of the Secretary of State during the report period.

The Committee were advised that there had been one new appeal lodged since the last committee.

The Committee were advised that the had been no new appeal decisions received since the last committee.

The Committee were advised that there had been no appeal cost decisions received since the last committee.

RESOLVED -              that the information be noted.

The Committee received a report advising of the completed Planning Obligations which have previously been authorised,

Since the last Committee there has been one new planning obligation.

Since the last Committee there has been no new payments received in respect of planning obligations

The Committee received a report updating Councillors on the implications of changes in the revised National Planning Policy Framework which was published on 24 July 2018.

The Committee were advised that the revised document replaced the previous version as soon as it was published on 24 July, and as such this revised version would be a material consideration in all decisions made after 24 July 2018. The National Policy Guidance (NPPG) has not yet been revised and remains the same.

Key changes were highlighted to the Committee as follows:-

Councillors were advised that there are some key changes in the way in which planning issues will be considered because of this revised framework and reports will continue to highlight the policies set out in the revised NPPF.
