Street Trading Consent Application (Paragrpah 7)

Minutes:

The Committee received an application for street trading consent.

 

RESOLVED-  the Committee resolved to grant the street trading consent to trade in                     the place and at the times set out in the application, subject to the                              Council’s standard conditions save in respect of condition 5 which is                 hereby disapplied (i.e. “At the end of each street trading period the             van/cart/barrow/stall shall be removed from the street trading location                    within one hour of the end of street trading time showed on the                          Consent”

Minutes:

RESOLVED -

i)

That the Committee were satisfied that applicant RC/01/18 was a fit and proper person to hold a Private Hire Driver licence with the Council, and that such licence be for a one year duration.

 

ii)

That the Committee were not satisfied that applicant RC/04/18 was a fit and proper person and agreed to suspend his Private Hire Driver Licence with immediate effect, such suspension to be lifted if within two months from the date of the hearing if the applicant provides the Council with written evidence of having satisfactorily completed an approved driver assessment and correction course; and in the event that the applicant does not provide such evidence within that period then the licence upon the expiry of that period be deemed to be revoked.

 

iii)

That application RC/05/18 be deferred until the next meeting of the Committee as the applicant was unable to attend.

 

iv)

That the Committee were satisfied that applicant RC/06/18 was a fit and proper person to hold a Private Hire Driver licence and that such licence shall be for a three year duration.

 

v)

That the Committee were satisfied that applicant RC/07/18 was a fit and proper person to hold a ‘dual’ Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver licence with the Council, and that such licence shall be of a three year duration.
