Consideration has been given to the disposal of land at Portland Street, Pelaw to the charity, Fighting All Cancers Together (FACT) at less than best financial consideration. |

RESOLVED - |
|
That the sale of the subject
site to FACT, at less than the best consideration that can
reasonably be obtained, in accordance with the provisions of the
General Disposal Consent (England) 2003, as set out in the report
be approved subject to the receipt of planning
permission. |

|
The above decision has been made for the following reasons: |

(A) |
To help bring a vacant site back into use. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
(B) |
To enable the Council to maximise its land holdings to provide support for vulnerable individuals from across the Borough. |
